The carer app — practical and versatile
App features
Built for carers, not for offices.
Rota — always current
Carers see today, tomorrow and the week ahead at a glance. Push notifications arrive the moment the rota changes — so they're always working from the latest version, not one from last Tuesday.
GPS clock-in and clock-out
One tap to clock in when they arrive, one tap to clock out when they leave. GPS location is recorded automatically — no paper timesheets to hand in at the end of the week.
Speech-to-text visit notes
Carers speak their visit notes; the app transcribes them. Faster than typing at the end of a long shift, more accurate than paper, and immediately available in the coordinator dashboard.
Care plan task checklist
Each visit shows the care tasks for that specific client — pulled from their care plan. Carers tick off tasks as they go. Uncompleted tasks are flagged for manager review.
eMAR — medication record
The medication checklist for each client appears automatically at clock-in. Carers record each medication as given, refused or held. Missed doses trigger an automatic alert to the coordinator.
Works offline
Poor signal at a client's home? The app queues everything locally — clock-in, notes, medication records — and syncs automatically when a connection is restored. Nothing is ever lost.
